CRAZY FUN JULY

We had a crazy busy month of July - but lots of fun!

We spent a long weekend at the Silver Lake Sand Dunes - did some dune buggy driving on the sand dunes, some putt-putt golf and go kart racing

We took the boat with us and went on Silver Lake a couple of days which the kids loved - we were able to pull right up to the dunes, so the kids could climb and then run right back down into the water!

Sara also turned 9 on July 12th!

We did lots of boating and camping and saw some beautiful sunsets too!

More Camping Fun!

NO DOGS AT THE BEACH

The sign clearly reads: NO DOGS ON THE BEACH

But Major is just a tiny little thing - no one will notice him

See.... he blends right in with Ben

How could we possibly leave him back at the camper while we were at the beach - its not like he ever had to sit down, someone (namely Ben) was constantly holding him

We sure love this little dog - never thought i would say that about a dog (as i've always been allergic) but this little guy has all of our hearts!

YES, YES I DO

I know - odd title but i can explain....

We spent last weekend camping with the Bissells and when I look through these pictures all I think of is my sweet little nephew Spencer saying "Yes, Yes I do" or "No, No I don't" to whatever was asked of him

So, this past week I find myself answering things by repeating my Yes or No - but, somehow its not quite as cute coming out of my mouth - hmmm, think maybe that's because he's 8 and I'm ummm......... much older :)























We were only able to spend one day out on the boat as it ended up raining lots on Sunday. Ben did a little wakeboarding and they all did lots of tubing and swimming.

They played king of the raft - which was of course Ben. Although, he was very helpful in pulling Jen, Sara & Spencer back on the tube before knocking them off again!

MEMORIAL DAY WEEKEND

We went camping over Memorial Day Weekend to Shipshewana, Indiana

First Stop - Kettle Corn

We gave the girls some money to spend - it did not take long for Sara to find a toy to buy

Or for Jennifer to buy some candy

Although, with all the candy choices - it did take her a long time to decide what not to buy!

Everything closes on Sunday in Shipshewana and it was sooooo hot out - so, we took the kids to Splash Universe to swim for the day - Sara just wore her braces and shoes right in the water!

Sunday night - we walked around downtown and took some pictures - it's like a ghost town, absolutely no one around
