Sara had her 2nd game this weekend through the Upwards Basketball Program. This is such a well run program where all the kids get equal playing time and learn the game. They do such a fabulous job keeping it positive and having fun, it is run 100% by volunteers! This is the 2nd year Sara has played and she sure seems to love it!
All the players run through this tent like thing while the coaches announce their names - super cute, makes the kids feel special!
Never actually got a picture of her with the ball - but she did have it - even scored a couple of points and had a couple of steels - so fun to watch!

Each time they start a period they line up across from the player they will be guarding - they have the kids put on color bands so they know who they are guarding. At this age they make them only guard the color they are assigned to.
